On November 14, 2017, Mr. Lin Hai, the Board Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of our company, entrusted by Chairman Zou Qian, went to the Chongqing branch of Bank of East Asia to donate RMB 20,000 to the "Bank of East Asia Public Welfare Fund".
The "Bank of East Asia Public Welfare Fund" is short for "Shanghai Song Qingling Foundation - Bank of East Asia Public Welfare Fund", established in November 2009. It was jointly initiated by Bank of East Asia (China) Limited ("BEA China") and the Shanghai Song Qingling Foundation. It is the first public welfare fund in mainland China initiated by a foreign-funded bank, aiming to care for and help the education and growth of adolescents in impoverished areas.
