The "Bank of East Asia Public Welfare Fund" is short for "Shanghai Song Qingling Foundation - Bank of East Asia Public Welfare Fund", established in November 2009. It was jointly initiated by Bank of East Asia (China) Limited ("BEA China") and the Shanghai Song Qingling Foundation.
