Powering the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Annual Meeting, Simula-SX™ simulation software shines!

On September 21, 2019, the 12th Annual Academic Conference of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association successfully concluded at the Yuelai Convention and Exhibition Center! Kopperchem's independently developed simulation software, Simula-SX™, made its debut at the conference. Mr. Zou Qian, Chairman of the Board, delivered a special report entitled "Optimizing Copper Solvent Extraction Operating Systems with Simula-SX™ Simulation Software." The report, focusing on three major sections: user interface, operation process, and economic benefit analysis, detailed the usage in aspects such as drawing isotherms, optimizing extraction processes, optimizing extraction parameters, optimizing organic phases, and selecting extractants for new projects, as well as how the use of this software will benefit copper

Kopperchem's independently developed simulation software, Simula-SX™, was showcased at the conference. Mr. Zou Qian, Chairman of the Board, delivered a special report titled "Optimizing Copper Solvent Extraction Operating Systems using Simula-SX™ Simulation Software." The report, focusing on user interface, operational processes, and economic benefit analysis, detailed the usage in areas such as isothermal line plotting, extraction process optimization, extraction parameter optimization, organic phase optimization, and the selection of extractants for new projects. It highlighted how this software will greatly facilitate copper solvent extraction operations and save significant costs for mining enterprises. Mr. Xu Zhigang, Vice General Manager, also shared the company's latest research findings—"Application of the new extractant Mextral6103H in the extraction and separation of cobalt in copper-cobalt mines"—and answered questions from experts.
This report fully demonstrated Kopperchem's strengths as a national high-tech enterprise focused on technology. It also provided new approaches to solving practical production problems in the industry. The release of the Simula-SX™ simulation software, in particular, attracted considerable attention from attendees, sparking lively discussions and earning widespread praise within the industry.
