To encourage employees to humbly learn, work diligently, continuously strengthen their professional skills, improve operational skills, and enhance work efficiency, and to foster a positive work atmosphere, with the support and encouragement of the company, the "Job Operation Skills Competition" - "Quality Inspection Operation Skills Competition," hosted by the labor union, was successfully held in the Quality Assurance Department on December 29, 2017.
The competition consisted of a written examination and a practical operation. The written examination used a unified question paper and on-site group assessment to test employees' understanding of practical problems and precautions encountered in their work. The practical operation part used a lottery method to select topics. Combining the department's work content, three frequently used analytical laboratory tasks were selected as topics: titration of sulfuric acid content, pH determination, and toluene content determination. Each contestant randomly selected one topic, and their preparation before the experiment, operational details during the experiment, standardization, accuracy, and post-experiment cleanup and organization were comprehensively evaluated. Each contestant was confident and prepared to showcase their skills and style.
Employees from the Technology Center observed the competition. While cheering on the contestants, they also carefully studied, thoughtfully considered, and strived to identify gaps between themselves and others, hoping to improve and excel in the future. After the competition, everyone felt they gained a lot, learned a lot, and would study and work harder in the future to continuously improve their skills and work efficiency.
This competition fostered a positive work atmosphere, enhanced employees' sense of role in their positions, encouraged mutual learning and improvement among employees, and ultimately improved the overall team efficiency.
