Over the past 10 years, the company has achieved major breakthroughs and successful applications of a series of key technologies and equipment processes in the amino acid, natural gas fine chemical, and inorganic salt industries, achieving significant economic and environmental benefits. The company has a chemical pilot and semi-industrial laboratory and an equipment manufacturing plant.
On March 28, a grand completion ceremony was held for the main project of the second phase of the 5,000-ton annual output metal extractant project. Li Xuesong, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Changshou District Committee and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the District Government and Deputy District Head of Chongqing Changshou District; Liang Jian, Director of the Chongqing Changshou District Science and Technology Commission; Xu Zongcheng, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Changshou District Commission of Economy and Information Technology; Zhou Liping, Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the National Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee; and Zou Qian, Chairman of Kopper Chemical Industry Corp., Ltd., attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Also in attendance were Huang Weihua, Director General of the Economic Operation Bureau of the National Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee; Yan Ziqing, President of the Chongqing Changshou Branch of Industrial Bank Co., Ltd.; Wu Xiaomin, President of the Chongqing Changshou Branch of China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd.; Li Kangming and Liu Xiaojun, Presidents of the Chongqing Changshou Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd.; Lei Chaozhi and Cheng Lin, Presidents of the Liangjiang New Area Branch of Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.; Han Yaqun, President of the Changshou Branch of Chongqing Three Gorges Bank Co., Ltd.; Zhao Wenyuan, General Manager of Beijing Baipeng Jiaye Investment Management Co., Ltd.; Ms. Wang Xi and Ms. Wang Guanqin, strategic investors; and Mr. Wang Xingchuan of Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, among others.
At the ceremony, Deputy District Head Li Xuesong congratulated Kopperchem on its previous achievements, affirmed Kopperchem's position in the metal extractant industry, and expressed hope that Kopperchem would continue to leverage its strengths and create new successes.
