Xu Zhigang
Graduated from the College of Chemistry, Sichuan University; Senior Engineer; PhD candidate in Hydrometallurgy, Central South University; Member of the Chinese Society for Metals.
Expert in hydrometallurgy, with long-term experience in R&D of technologies related to metal solvent extraction, mineral flotation, acid mist suppression, and other mining chemicals, as well as special functional material compounding technologies. Possesses extensive management experience in product R&D, production, procurement, storage, and safety and environmental protection.
Joined Kopperchem in 2012. During this period, led the R&D of a series of metal extractants, and led the team to overcome many technical challenges. As the leader of the Chongqing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Team, presided over or participated in six national or provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. Published 16 professional technical articles in core journals or international conferences, including 8 SCI papers, and obtained 17 authorized patents. Has received numerous awards including the "Top Ten Innovative Talents" of Chongqing Changshou District, the Chongqing Changshou District Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award, nomination for the "Most Beautiful Craftsman" of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, "Liangjiang Role Model" of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, "Double-Lead Star" of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, "Excellent Communist Party Member" of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, and "Science and Technology Special Envoy" of Chongqing Changshou District.
